The safe space for women and girls in Hays District, Al Hudaydah Governorate, conducted two awareness sessions as part of the project "Providing Livelihood Services for the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls in Yemen." This project is implemented by the ForHuman Foundation for Human Development (FHD) and funded by UNFPA in Yemen.The first session focused on an activity called "Overcoming Negative Emotions," while the second session, titled "My Voice is Heard: How to Express Myself Confidently," aimed to support participants in expressing their feelings positively, boosting self-confidence, developing communication skills, and improving social relationships.

The ForHuman Development Foundation (#FHD) in Al Hudaydah Governorate held its sixth bazaar to showcase products from its 2025 vocational training program. This initiative is part of the project "Providing Livelihood Services for the Most Vulnerable Women and Girls," funded by UNFPA in Yemen, under the slogan "Together to Support Women's Products and Protect Them Digitally and Economically."The bazaar was attended by Mr. Adel Makrashab, Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office, along with several local authority leaders, social figures, human rights activists, and representatives of civil society organizations.The beneficiaries presented a variety of professional and artisanal products, reflecting their acquired skills. This initiative aims to promote economic empowerment and provide sustainable income sources for women and girls in Hays District.

​The project to improve the living conditions of women and girls in Hodeidah concludes.


Under the patronage of the Governor of Hodeidah Governorate, Dr. Al-Hassan Taher, and in the presence of the Director of the Social Affairs and Labor Office, Mr. Adel Makrashab, and a number of local authority leaders and community figures, a closing ceremony was held for the project to improve the living conditions of women and girls. The project was implemented by the ForHuman Development Foundation (#FHD) with funding from the UNMHA mission.The ceremony showcased the project's outcomes, highlighting the beneficiaries' skills in sewing bags and leather belts, as well as home gardening. Success stories were also presented, reflecting their readiness to integrate into the labor market and achieve self-reliance.Fifty women benefited from the project, which aimed to promote economic empowerment, support sustainability, encourage local production, strengthen community partnerships, and support women and girls' entry into the labor market through an accompanying products exhibition.
